Association
Swiss Kitesailing Association (SKA) is the Swiss body for all kite classes and an olympic mandate within Swiss Sailing (Formula Kite). SKA operates with the international body International Kiteboarding Association (IKA). Founded in 1997, SKA is responsible for:
- issuing race licences for its active members and kiters (for all kiteboarding classes)
- managing youth development programme (for all kiteboarding classes, up to U21)
- representing Switzerland at the International Kiteboarding Association (IKA) - olympic path
- managing and organising national competitions
